      It can be possible, but only by a very certain type of ‘substar’ called a Brown Dwarf Star.
      A lot of people don’t consider Brown Dwarf stars as even stars because they appear and behave slightly differently to the typical stars we think about.
      It may not give off as much light and for as long as, say, our Sun (which is a star!), but it can emit an orange’ish glow.
      Once it stops glowing, it begins to act more like a planet than a star.
