• Question: Has an animal ever been to space?

      Unfortunately, several. Humans, dogs, (I think a cat also? – not sure), chimps, mice, fish and insects have all been to space. The first dog (Laika) and first chimp (Ham) are the most famous – its easy to find out why they went searching online. We’ve also send bacteria intentionally, and accidentally, to the moon and mars. Check out the tardigrades that crashed on the moon – those little critters are incredibly robust.
